What ages does the grassroots programme cover?
Our grassroots programme is for children aged 5–10 years old. We have U8 and U10 age groups that compete in Central Venue Leagues (CVL) on a monthly basis.
What are the Central Venue Leagues (CVL)?
CVL events are monthly competitive basketball competitions for U8 and U10 age groups. They are relaxed, fun, and age-appropriate — perfect for giving young players their first taste of competitive basketball in a positive environment.
Does my child need any experience?
None at all. Our grassroots sessions are designed for complete beginners. We start from the very basics and build up in a fun and structured way.
What does my child need to bring?
Comfortable sports kit and clean trainers (no outdoor shoes on court). A water bottle. We provide basketballs and all equipment.
Are sessions run by qualified coaches?
Yes. All sessions are delivered by Level 2 qualified coaches with DBS clearance. Safeguarding is our number one priority at every session.
When are sessions?

Can my child progress into the junior teams?
Absolutely. Our grassroots programme is specifically designed as the feeder pathway into our U12 and U14 competitive teams. We love seeing players grow through the club.
